Kick off
This project involved improving an existing mobile app available on Brazilian app stores. I was hired by Elos Tecnologia, a team of developers looking for a UX designer to enhance the user experience of a healthcare app serving employees of the State Department of Labor in Brazil (Tribunal Regional da 8ª Região – TRT-PA). The app provides access to a healthcare plan for over 200 public employees, and my goal was to modernize the experience and improve usability across key touchpoints.

Takeaways
As my first complete design project in a mobile app environment (2019), this experience taught me a lot. Looking back, I can clearly see areas I would approach differently today. I would apply a more minimalistic visual style, leveraging whitespace more effectively to improve clarity and breathing room. Most importantly, I would ensure deeper involvement across the entire product process—from sprint planning and research to ideation and creative execution. This project was a foundational step in shaping my user-centered design approach.
